NY Times Feature of Ragnar's Performance Piece

Jackie Gage will be part of Ragnar Kjartansson's immersive art piece "Romantic Songs of the Patriarchy." November 9-11th in San Francisco. Marc Cary honors Betty Carter and Fat Tuesdays on May 4th 

Dear friends, Marc Cary pays tribute to long-standing musical influencer, the late Betty Carter. This concert puts together past musicians from Betty Carter's groups, and also places a spotlight on the future of the idiom with a group of musicians who came up in Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead program. Jackie will be joining Marc Cary for a portion of this concert.

Antoinette Montague Honored at Rutgers University 

Dear friends,

Newark native Antoinette Montague is presented with the Women in Media - Newark Award for Lifetime in Music and Service in Jazz. She will be performing music with her group "The Antoinette Montague Experience”, and has invited singers Kameelah Harper and Jackie Gage to share a few selections during the evening. Band members include Danny Mixon on piano, Melisa Slocum on bass, Bobby Sanabria on drums, Lakecia Benjamin on sax, Alex Cowing on tap dancing and vocals.
